Common questions
How do I join a contest?
Open the invitation from your organizer and sign in to FrankTally. You can also choose “Join with a code” in the app and paste the invite link or code. A personal claim link may only be used once. If it has expired, been revoked, or already been claimed, ask your organizer for help.
Why hasn’t my entry changed the standings?
In organizer-approval mode, entries wait for review. In challenge-and-vote mode, a review or voting window may still be open. Check your entry’s status and refresh the contest. Only entries accepted under your contest’s rules contribute to the score; withdrawn or rejected entries do not.
My photo won’t upload.
Choose a JPEG, PNG, or WebP image under 10 MB and 25 megapixels. Check your connection and photo access in device settings. If the upload still fails, try a smaller copy and send support the error message. Don’t send a private contest photo unless it’s needed and you’re comfortable sharing it.
Do existing totals need photos?
No. An organizer can set historical opening totals when creating a contest. New hotdog entries need a photo. Opening totals and photo entries are different parts of the scorebook.
I can’t sign in or find my verification email.
Check the spelling of your email address and your spam folder. Use the app’s resend option for verification, or “Forgot password?” to reset your password. If you used a sign-in provider, use the same provider. Contact support if you’re still stuck.
Who can see a contest?
Private contests are for their organizer and invited members. Public contests can be discovered and joined by other signed-in users. Contest members can see the shared standings, entries, photos and contest activity. Keep personal invite links private and avoid posting sensitive information.
Where can I download FrankTally?
FrankTally is being prepared for iOS and Android store release. Official download links will appear on the homepage when available.
Report a problem with content or conduct
Email support@franktally.net with the contest name, entry details, and the reason for your report. For a scoring dispute, use your contest’s review tools or contact the organizer. See our community guidelines.
Privacy and account requests
Contact privacy@franktally.net for privacy questions, access or correction requests. To remove your account, follow the account-deletion instructions.
