Delete your account
You can request deletion of your FrankTally account and associated personal data without reinstalling the app.
Request account deletion
- Email privacy@franktally.net from the email address associated with your FrankTally account.
- Use the subject FrankTally account deletion request. Tell us that you want your account and associated personal data deleted.
- We will reply with any verification steps and confirm when the request has been processed, or explain any information that must be retained.
This opens your email app with a draft. You still need to send it. If no email app opens, send your request to the address above using your usual email service.
What the request covers
The request covers your account profile and email, linked sign-in records and sessions, uploaded photos, entries, reactions, votes and other personal data associated with your account. Shared contest records and organizer responsibilities may need to be resolved as part of processing your request.
What may remain
Limited information may be retained where necessary for legal obligations, security or dispute resolution. We will explain any exception and the applicable retention period in our reply. Backup copies may remain until backup rotation; copies saved independently by other participants are outside our control. See the privacy policy’s retention section.
Before you send
Deletion is different from signing out, uninstalling the app or withdrawing an entry. Save any personal records you want to keep. Never send your password or verification code. If you cannot access the account’s email address, contact privacy@franktally.net to discuss verification.
Only want certain data removed?
You can use the same address to request deletion of specific personal data without asking to delete the entire account. Describe the information and contest involved so we can assess the request.
